Gilsland Farm Audubon Maternity Session

2017 was one of my busiest years of weddings and I was lucky enough to photograph Magalloway and Josh’s wedding that summer on Branch Lake in Ellsworth, Maine. I was delighted when they contacted me in 2020 to let me know that they were expecting their first child and would like to shoot their maternity and newborn photos!

We had an overcast (yet wonderfully bright) late September evening for their maternity session at the Gilsland Farm Audubon in Falmouth. A light, overcast evening is one of my favorites because it allows us to shoot just about anywhere while still providing plenty of light. The sun peaked through here and there which gave us some beautiful rays of light to work with as well. And as always, Magalloway and Josh are a dream to photograph. They both have an easy-going nature and their love is so sweet. Their son is so lucky to have these two as his parents!
